
Grammy award-winning musician Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, is fully embracing his time in Nigeria following his mother’s funeral. Despite primarily residing in Europe with his two youngest children and baby mama/manager Jada Pollock, Wizkid has been making unexpected appearances and going on tour.
In a recent surprise appearance, Wizkid visited Nollywood actor, filmmaker, and director Kunle Afolayan. Videos circulated online showing Kunle giving Wizkid a tour of his restaurant and bar in Ikeja. The actor warmly welcomed the superstar singer, and in another clip, Wizkid was seen spraying bundles of new N500 notes on Kunle Afolayan, who was visibly excited.
These outings by Wizkid have sparked curiosity and left many wondering about the purpose behind his various appearances and activities during his time in Nigeria.

Wizkid’s visit to Kunle Afolayan follows closely after he paid a courtesy visit to Fuji Maestro, King Wasiu Ayinde, also known as Kwam1. During his visit to the Fuji Maestro’s home, Wizkid expressed gratitude to K1 for attending his late mother’s burial service and delivering a lovely performance.
The duo was later seen visiting the Awujale of Ijebu land, Ona Sikiru Kayode Adetona, at the palace, where they received blessings and prayers from the monarch.
In another appearance, Wizkid visited his secondary school, Ijebu Ode Grammar School, where he was seen wandering around the school compound with a group of young individuals.
