President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau, has charged the the Falconets to go all out to secure a place at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
Chris Danjuma’s side will begin their quest for a place in Colombia 2024 with an away fixture against Tanzania on Sunday.
The third round, first leg fixture, is billed for the Azam Sports Complex, Dar es Salaam.
The reverse fixture will take place a week later at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
“Your first port of call is Tanzania, but your destination is Colombia, where the World Cup will take place next year,” Gusau told the players after Thursday’s training session.
“You must have it in mind that this is only the beginning of the journey. I have no doubt that you will conquer Tanzania and go ahead to qualify for the World Cup finals.”
The Falconets’ contingent will depart Nigeria on Friday (today) aboard an Ethiopian Airways flight to Addis Ababa and onwards to Dar es Salaam.
