Real Madrid President Florentino Perez is reportedly open to selling David Alaba if the club receives an offer of approximately €40 million next year for the defender.
According to El Nacional, Real Madrid has been dissatisfied with Alaba’s inconsistent performances this season, and Perez, in particular, is allegedly very disappointed with the Austrian international and is looking to offload him.
Alaba joined Real Madrid from Bayern Munich on a free transfer in 2021. One of his most challenging moments with Real Madrid was the 3-1 La Liga derby defeat against Atletico Madrid last month.
As a versatile player, Alaba has participated in 94 matches across various competitions since joining Real Madrid. His contract with the club is set to expire in the summer of 2025.
However, it remains uncertain whether any team will present an attractive offer to acquire the 31-year-old defender.
