NPL: Sporting Lagos Forward Alukwu Recounts Impressive Goal Against Remo Stars

Sporting Lagos forward, Jonathan Alukwu, attributed his goal against Remo Stars to quick thinking.

Alukwu found the net in the first half, giving Sporting Lagos the lead at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.

Despite this, Remo Stars came back strong, with Franck Mawuena and Sikiru Alimi scoring goals.

Alukwu explained, “The ball was in the air, and I saw the opponent’s defender approaching, so I had to hit it quickly,” emphasizing the importance of quick thinking in that moment.
